The Brush Off isn’t just an art show — it’s a creative battlefield.
At the Fashion Institute of Technology’s electric live-painting competition,
student artists go head-to-head in
three high-energy rounds,
creating original work right before your eyes under tight time pressure and surprise mediums.
Judges and the crowd pick the best pieces after each round, and the top contenders clash in a final championship face-off.
The action happens in FIT’s Great Hall with drinks, music, and buzz-worthy guests — and every masterpiece made that night is
auctioned off to support FIT students and the FIT Foundation,
blending performance, competition, community, and impact.
